Captain Alex Hensley is owner and operator of Intentional Fishing LLC. Offering Saltwater Fishing Charters in the Fort Walton Beach – Destin, Florida area.

As a lifetime resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Captain Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience aboard when fishing the Emerald Coast’s diverse waters.  Specializing in inshore and offshore saltwater fishing, Captain Alex takes pride in educating and sharing his expertise with others.

Alex started fishing at 3 years old with his dad and brother. Over the years of fishing around Destin,Alex has developed an expertise of the area. From every corner of the Bay, to far offshore, he knows these waters like the back of his hand. Beginners and experts alike enjoy fishing with Captain Alex because of his knowledge and laid back attitude.

Bio

Born in Fort Walton Beach and raised there by his parents Jim & Karen Hensley.  He has two older siblings, Mary and Derrick that still live nearby.  After graduating from Choctawhatchee High School in 2007, Alex attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama pursuing Music Performance.  There, he met his future wife, Jessica. Later, they were married in her hometown in Georgia in 2011 and have since lived in Fort Walton Beach.  Jessica works for a local established pest control business, enjoys time on the water, is a sales partner with Trades of Hope. 

Jessica and Alex are members at Wright Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach.  They both sing in the choir and play trombone in worship.  Alex also plays bass guitar with the worship team.  If you are dining around town on a Thursday night, you might see Alex playing lead trombone with the Downbeat Jazz Orchestra
